Welcome!

I am a fully qualified Hair Stylist and Nail Technician based in Thorrington, Colchester,  Essex.

During my spare time whilst attending College and University, I practiced and perfected gel nails on myself and then close family and friends. 

I then worked in an award winning beauty salon for approximately one year back in 2015 - 16 and was advised by a close work colleague that I should complete a course in gel nails "just in case" I decided to "do nails on the side". 

Little did I know this would be the beginnings of Josephine's Beauty.

After attaining my Diploma in Manicure, Pedicure & Gel Polish, I set up Josephine's Beauty alongside my full-time job back in October 2019. 

I feel very lucky that it was successful with many loyal returning clients. 

Following the birth of my late daughter in September 2022, I decided to relaunch with Wedding Hair & Beauty at the forefront. 

I have always had a natural ability for hair styling and was always asked by close friends to style their hair for events. 

I finally took the plunge to do a Bridal Up-Do course in February 2023 and introduce this into the relaunch of Josephine's Beauty, qualifying in Bridal and Occasion Hair.

I love to experiment with different trends and new designs to create complete uniqueness for my clients that are always sure to impress! So be sure to think of me for festival style hair  or any occasion alongside Weddings!
