Terms & Conditions

Please read these T&C's  carefully  before booking our service's. These T&C’s are here to protect both yourself and members of staff at Josephine's Beauty. PLEASE NOTE that by paying your booking, you are fully agreeing to our terms and conditions listed below.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that you give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your beauty appointment. Within 24 hours of the service, cancellations will be charged at 50% of the scheduled cost.

Wedding & Bridal Hair

To secure your date, a non-refundable booking fee of £100 is required. Your booking fee will be deducted from the overall balance of the invoice. The booking fee helps with the ongoing costs of running the business and should be seen as a commitment to you and your wedding date.  Booking fees are non refundable under any circumstances. Bridal trials are £100 and whilst included in all packages, this fee is due at the time of the trial and will then be deducted from the final balance. The final balance is then due 4 weeks prior to your wedding date.

Trials

Trials are held at my home salon in Thorrington, Colchester, Essex, CO7 8HG, Tuesday - Friday.

Packages include a trial for the Bride, however trials are also available for Bridal party members if required. Please see the 'Wedding & Occasion Hair ' section on my website for more information.

We ask that you give a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your hair trial.

Wedding Day

Please ensure you check your Wedding party numbers carefully as this will effect your Bridal Package, I do not offer any price reductions for these packages.. The pricing quoted at the time of the booking will be honoured and any general price changes between the time of booking and your wedding date will not affect your agreed fee for the services booked.

Additional Fees

Any additional expenses, such as travel, parking, toll etc will be discussed at the time of booking and then added to the final balance.

All travel costs are included within a 10 mile radius of my home salon in Thorrington, Colchester. Outside of this will cost an additional expense of £0.50p per mile. If accommodation charges are applicable, this will be discussed and arranged accordingly.

There is a £50 charge should an assistant stylist be required.

Bridal Hair Cancellations

Should you have to cancel your booking, please advise me as soon as possible. 

All cancellations will incur the following cancellation fees:

• Should you cancel your wedding booking after the £100 booking fee has been received, please note that as stated above this is non-refundable.
• If your booking is cancelled within 90 days of your wedding date, you are liable to pay the full amount due to the likelihood of a loss of income due to the holding of that booking.
• In the unlikely event I have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and where no other suitable alternative can be arranged, a full refund of the booking fee will be returned to you. No further compensation will be offered however I will do my upmost to assist in any other arrangements.
• If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of myself, I will endeavour to rectify such situations, however, no compensation will be offered. It is therefore advisable for the client to take out wedding or event insurance to cover against these circumstances.
